My body groans with weakness; it has been nearly three days since I have eaten. Thank the Fates, I was forced to flee during the hearthfire season. While the deep snowfall has made travel difficult and rendered food scarce, it has also ensured that my waterskins remain full. Had I been chased out of Hewden in the opendoor, I may not have been Fated to subsist so long. Nevertheless, I fear my journey is drawing near to its end. If I cannot locate food before next moonrise, the Fates will surely reclaim me.

I have watched myself from the outside.
I have noticed changes, good and bad.
I have become weaker, and yet stronger.
Gaining love has made me weak… vulnerable.
Yet, gaining love has made me stronger.
By knowing that one person cares so deeply,

Upside Down
I saw the world upside down. It hurt my eyes, but I kept looking at it. The blood pulsed through my veins and arteries, going the wrong way. The cars streaked across the roads about to tip over from the tarmac and hit the wide blue sky below.
